Hello and welcome to Studio C, design and illustration by Catherine Vernon.

Catherine is a versatile surface pattern designer and illustrator who loves tea. From Yorkshire (UK), she graduated from Huddersfield University for both her BA (Hons) in Textile Crafts and MA in Textiles. Since graduating she has indulged in a love for graphics and illustration, mixed with textiles and you have quite a combination.

Over the past few years she has worked freelance for Igloo Thermo Logistics, even helping them celebrate their 10th anniversary. She has also completed many designs for wedding stationary, various invitations and celebratory papery goodness. 

Now she's focusing on surface patterns, inspired by so much yet keeping her natural linea hand drawn style; Catherine can create simple images for greetings up to large layered designs for wallpaper and more.

In her spare time you'll find her practising yoga, running (not very fast) and of course- drinking Yorkshire Tea!
